Guess the correct date and location of Sandy Point’s first leatherback nest and win!

Every year, once we get into February, our team starts to speculate amongst ourselves when and where the first leatherback nest of the season will be. This year we thought we’d share this fun game with you so you can play along with us!

Follow this link to get to the entry form! The contest is FREE to enter! You get three guesses per entry. Simply choose a date and then a beach (North, South or West). Once we get the first nest, the contest is over!

The Grand Prize will be a leatherback adoption (name a leatherback turtle for this year, project t-shirt, sticker and adoption certificate). We will have other prizes too as we go along!

Insider tip! The earliest leatherback nest in previous years was 9 February, and there have been some nests sprinkled from that date until 31 March when we start seeing nests nearly daily.
